Life Begins Anew
Ah, opening week of the new NFL season. No matter which team is your true love (well, almost), this is a week of hope. Every team starts out with a clean slate. By the time the clock ticks down on Monday night, half the teams will have a perfect record and the others will be looking to rebound. It is a world of possibilities, in high def so clear it makes you cry.
Likewise, a new crop of fantasy leagues is underway. This is our first year to have a 38 Studios league, and as you might imagine, one coach in particular is a wee bit competitive. Needless to say, every one of us in the office wants to be able to say we whooped Schilling’s ass. Based on his picks, that shouldn’t be an issue.
Trash talk? Yeah, there might just be a bit of trash talk this year. It’s on.
Good day today for both my teams! Our office is doing the fantasy football thing too, but I picked really crappy players. I bet FF is fun with Schilling =P
