Though I’m living in Boston now, the news about the bridge collapse in Minneapolis hit close to home. I’ve driven over that bridge many times, and it’s simply unbelievable to see the images appearing in the news. It’s just something that almost defies description because it’s so unexpected.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who were affected, especially to those who lost loved ones. Though any such death is a tragedy, it’s a credit to all the rescue workers on the scene that more lives were not lost.
